If your computer has ALWAYS been slow, then you need to add some memory ($45 to $60) or you need a new computer.

If it has progressively gotten slow (especially after your cousin Vinny was playing on it) then you probably have spyware.

You can remove the spyware yourself by getting Malwareware Bytes.  You can read about it on our website, here.

If that doesn't work, you may have a bad spyware infestation.  It can take 10 hours to get rid of this for bad infestations.  It is best to bring in the computer, or have us try a remote session.  We do NOT charge you for every hour that we work on the computer since most of it is spent scanning for infestations.

NOTE: Most major companies do NOT even offer a spyware removal service because of the amount of time it takes their technicians to remove it.  Also, the chance of success is not 100%.  Microcenter recommends completely backing up your data and erasing your computer rather than trying to remove spyware.
