Tune Ups Checklist

Just like a car, all computers are in constant need of maintenance to keep them running like new.

Here's what a normal tune up entails.  It takes about 2 hours depending on what programs you have now, and if you have any spyware and virus issues.

Heavy spyware and viruses can take from minutes to HOURS to remove.  We will let you know if the tune up finds anything major prior to starting the work.

General Tune Up:

We do a quick test of the hard drive for bad sectors, which can cause a computer failure and data loss in the future.
Then we scan the hard drive using 3 different spyware and virus detection programs.
Downloading, Installing, Updating and Scanning using Malwarebytes  for spyware (which slows down your PC)

Checking your antivirus program, and Downloaded AVG Free Antivirus/Antispyware  if necessary.

Adjusting Memory Paging size to use current memory most efficiently.

Checking Hard Drive space to make sure less than 90%.

Checking for Compressed Files which show up in blue writing, and are created by using Disk Clean Up.  These greatly slow down the PC.
