Terms and Conditions of Service

Estimated Completion Time:  Onsite Consulting Inc will provide an estimated completion time for your repair/install.  Many unforeseen circumstances may have an impact on our ability to complete the repair(s) in the estimated time, but we will always do our very best to stay on schedule.

Impact of Upgrades:  Upgrades can lead to incompatibilities with your system and downtime. Computer hardware and software work together and incompatibility may not become apparent until a later date.  We will notify you of any known problems with upgrades before starting work.  However, you are responsible for contacting the manufacturer of your software regarding compatibility issues before you request any upgrades.  We promise to do our best to inform you prior to starting work of any incompatibilities which may happen.

Liability: Onsite Consulting Inc’s liability for damage to your computer is limited only to any damage which is determined to be caused by the consultants’ negligent acts or negligent omissions. Our liability for repairs is limited to the total price of the repairs. Be aware that certain repairs, including but not limited to virus and spyware removal, may damage software and/or data installed on your computer. This is to be expected and may require the re- installation of your operating system, programs, and data.  Client agrees to mediation in Denver County rather than litigation.  If either party brings legal action to enforce it’s right under this terms and conditions, the prevailing party has the right to recover it’s expenses incurred in pursuing the dispute limited to the amount charged for labor.

Loss of Data: Data is the most important part of a computer system because it is often irreplaceable. Due to the process of repair, data may get damaged or at worst, deleted. Onsite Consulting Inc is not responsible for the loss of any data which may occur while performing work on your computer. You are responsible for backing up your own data. You may request that the Onsite Consulting Inc back up your data for you at the stated price; however, we do not guarantee any backup. In 30 Years of Consulting, this is an extremely rare event.

Ownership: You must own the computer that Onsite Consulting Inc services for repair(s). You may be asked to prove ownership of any software that is to be installed or re-installed on your computer by Onsite Consulting Inc by bringing in the original Software CDs and the appropriate keys and/or serial numbers.  We will not reinstall pirated software. 

Privacy: Our Technicians will not browse through your hard drive looking at your data; however, they may inadvertently see data during the course of their work. Please remove any personal or private files you do not want others to see.  We have no personal interest in perusing your data, and we will not intentionally open any document unless for purposes of repair.

Right to Refuse: In its sole discretion, Onsite Consulting Inc reserves the right to refuse work that it believes is beyond the scope of its ability, illegal activity, or for other good cause.

Scope of Work: Onsite Consulting Inc will only perform the work agreed upon when you bring your computer in for repair. Onsite Consulting Inc will advise you on additional recommended repairs. You must authorize any additional work which may be required.

Terms of Payment  Full payment is due when services are rendered.  After 7 days, we will consider the invoice overdue and subject to collections.  Subject to 1.5 % monthly charge for all overdue invoices plus $75 minimum attorney’s or collection fees.

By having Onsite work with your equipment, software and network, you approve of these terms and conditions.  If you do not agree, please contact us to cancel service calls and repairs.
